You don't need a new life. You need to get through the boring part

Big changes have a very photogenic part. The first day. The first key. The first workout. The first “I finally did it.” Then ordinary work usually appears. Not necessarily unbearably hard. Sometimes just repetitive, awkward, unrewarding. Another phrase you didn't understand. Another mistake corrected. Another reply that resolved nothing. Life is no longer what it was, but it isn't yet what you began all this for. That space between the two contains a surprising amount of everyday hassle. Apparently they edited it out of the promotional video.
