You don't need a new life. You need to get through the boring part
It matters to notice some real change, rather than merely counting days endured. Is something clearer? Can you do something you couldn't before? Are conditions improving? If not, you may need a different approach instead of pride in the hours you've put in. But expecting uninterrupted delight is a strange way to evaluate things too. A good life has boring stretches. Necessary work has ordinary days. Closeness has evenings when nobody says anything remarkable. You don't have to turn everything upside down again just because you have nothing to announce today. Sometimes a new life looks like the same old you and a Tuesday when you're finally doing what you chose a long time ago. No spectators, soundtrack, or feeling of how fucking amazing you are.
