Nobody owes you applause for trying

“I put so much into this.” I can see that. Time, money, nerves. You lost sleep, canceled plans, fought with the people you love. Now you're standing in front of the result, waiting for the world to take your circumstances into account. But for some reason, the world finds your app awkward to use. Or your book uninteresting. Or it simply doesn't need the thing you spent so long making.
